Heidelberg Catechism Commentary

One of the problems with today's churches is the neglect of catechesis. They are interested in pleasing people's ears, and do not teach doctrines that are at the heart of the truth. However, believers without catechesis fall into the same situation as those without bones. When the winds of heresy and liberalism blow, they are swept away. In keeping with the tradition of the Reformers, our churches must thoroughly teach the Word and doctrine, and must teach the Westminster Standard Document and the Heidelberg Catechism, which are the doctrinal basis of the Reformed Church outside the Presbyterian Church.
